Most people when they decide they want to lose weight start working on the physical body. They go on a diet, sign up for a gym and start working on an exercise program. All of these things are good and will address the physical aspects of losing weight, however, most of us have done that many times yet have not been able to maintain the weight loss long term. The reason is that we are both thinking and FEELING beings. The thinking part of us will say "I am over my ideal weight, I think I will go on a diet and lose a few pounds." The FEELING part however will say "I really want a hamburger and fries, I will start my diet tomorrow" or "I just don’t feel like exercising today." If we don’t feel like eating healthy or exercising we won’t do it long term.
